Dear compatriots:
thank the Ecuadorian community in Florida that has given me a broad
victory in elections for
Constituent Assembly, in accordance with
escrutio results in Miami.
Florida's vote indicates a high degree of awareness and maturity
civic
expressed democratically in favor of the proposal
considered most appropriate for the country, despite the
visit, the week of elections, the
President of the Republic in an obvious campaign.
think it is imperative that
leaders and political leaders not only talk about democracy in their speeches
, but the practice on their actions. This
is central to the transformation of
Ecuador.
I hope that the results in other cities
confirm the will of Ecuadorians in Florida,
